Tj Bartel is a seasoned performer and communicator with a dynamic background spanning acting, movement, psychology, and human connection. With early training in acting, improvisation, and stage combat, Tj built a strong creative foundation studying at Bay Area Theater Sports and Stanford Improv Camp under Keith Johnstone, widely regarded as the godfather of modern improv.
His performance skill set is further enhanced by extensive physical training, including wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts, and experience with the National West Coast Tae Kwon Do Team—bringing authenticity, presence, and physical intelligence to his work on screen and stage.
Tj holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, which deeply informs his approach to character development, emotional truth, and storytelling.
Beyond performance, Tj is a published and bestselling author of Soldier of Love and The Great Lover Blueprint for Men, with an upcoming series focused on human connection, intimacy, and personal transformation. For over 30 years, he has led hundreds of workshops, helping individuals develop deeper self-awareness, confidence, and communication skills.
